Getting to the Causeway Coast

The first step for most of our guests will be flying into Ireland.

The two primary airport options for most guests would be either Dublin (DUB) or Belfast (BFS)

Belfast (BFS) is convenient because it’s closer to the venue, but you may have a couple layovers (which is less ideal for checked bags).

Dublin (DUB) is a bit further away from the venue, but will have more international flight options and would be a great place to spend some time getting acclimated to Ireland before the festivities.

We recommend tracking your flights via the Hopper App and Sky Scanner App. These apps will alert you when the prices are at the lowest, when they are predicted to rise again, and best time to book your flight. It will also provide the lowest cost routes to Ireland.

There is still a drive to the Causeway Coast from either airport regardless. Dublin extends the drive by only ~1hr depending on time of arrival.

There will be a couple options for this:

  1. Rent a car + drive yourself
  2. Train to Coleraine + either taxi or bus the rest of the way
  3. Long bus route from your arrival city

We would recommend for most guests to do either option #1 or #2. For our American guests who don’t feel comfortable renting a car and driving on the other side of the road, then #2 would be your best option. Option #1 will give the most flexibility, but it is up to your discretion.

Please reach out to Mitch or Esme if you need help deciding.

Day of the Event

On the day of the event, we will be hiring a shuttle service to transport our guests to the various ceremonies. More info on the exact timeline, pickup location, and other logistics will be posted soon.

We have a page dedicated to a timeline of events to get a better idea of what is in store.
